TV Documentary on Stephen Batchelor

In 1974 Stephen Batchelor was ordained as a Tibetan monk in the Gelug tradition. In 1977 he left the Gelug tradition and ordained as a Korean Zen monk in South Korea, where he met his wife-to-be Martine Fages (then a Buddhist nun). He and Martine disrobed in February 1985 and got married in Hong Kong. They currently live in a small village near Bordeaux.

He is the author and translator of several books including Buddhism Without Beliefs. This is an interesting documentary about his life, practice and beliefs. Highly recommended.
