Woman mauled by pet bear
"A US woman who also kept a leopard, lion, tiger and jaguar at her home has been killed by her pet bear."
Sounds like as good a reason as any to not keep wild animals as pets…
"The bear was later shot to death."
The bear was shot to death?! The bear was just being a bear. It seems to me that when you keep an enormous wild bear as a pet, you should accept the associated risks.
